Happy 9th Birthday Megan!

How is she 9 already? Seems like yesterday she was born and we were moving to Texas. Meg is growing up so fast. She’s really doing well in school, cares about others, and is just all around a great kid.  Megan loves Snoopy, so for her 9th birthday we were able to order a cake to surprise her!  AND we got to go see Grandma and eat together – something we hadn’t done in a long time! Here is her day!

Birthday breakfast with some Lion King goodies.

After school (in which Dad met her for lunch with some flowers!), we headed over to Grandma and Grandpa’s for presents, dinner, and cake!

And, after dinner – here is her cake!  She was so surprised.  The bakery did a fabulous job! 

Here is my favorite picture of the night – Grandma sitting with her grandkids at a dinner table. She’s come so far!

Her big present was a new bike! We figured she could get used to it before the cold weather hits. This bike has gears – so Max was happily showing is little sis how to work them.

And finally we wrapped up her birthday later that week with a birthday viewing of The Lion King in 3D.  She was able to take a few friends along too!

Go Orange Tigers!

Mia is following in her sisters footsteps. Although Megan gave up soccer, she started in Kindergarten, just like Mia.  Here she is at picture day, both an individual and team picture were taken.  We don’t know anyone on the team, but that hasn’t made a difference for Mia!

Although at this age all they do is run and try to get the ball..she is a great runner and is becoming a good little player.  We will see how long she likes it – hopefully for a while! 

Band Time

Max’s school is on twitter – and I downloaded this picture of his band class.  It is fun to see and hear what they do through the day.  He’s 2nd from the end in the trumpet section…wearing a red shirt. I can’t wait to hear them play soon!

Griffin’s playtime

Have I mentioned I love my puppy?  Although he eats a ton of socks and gloves, or anything that smells good that we don’t want him to eat, I really love Griffin.  After5 months with him, Griff Griff (as I call him), is my constant companion.  He loves playtime outside. We found an old Frisbee that he loves…

But unfortunately it gets stuck from time to time.

This little blonde boy cracks me up. But I wouldn’t have it any other way. I miss my Bailey.. but have definitely fallen for G.
