Zoo WildLights and SANTA!

Megan joined Children's Chorus at her elementary school. And, a highlight was being able to sing at the Columbus Zoo WildLights!  After a great performance, we ventured out to enjoy the lights and ended our visit with a trip to see who else - SANTA!! The kids were able to tell him if they were good or bad...and then Mia decorated a cookie with Mrs. Clause. It was a fun night!

Decorating the Tree

Before Thanksgiving, we decorated the house for Christmas. With the hectic holidays, it's hard to find time to do it all, so we were glad to get the house ready!   Every year, we have the kids hang their name ornaments first. 

Here they are with the ornaments! 

 In addition, every year, we have them pick an ornament that represents something they did that year.

 Mia started soccer

 We took a trip to the St. Augustine Alligator Farm

 Max started Boy Scouts...And Scott was Assistant Scoutmaster

 Scott loves his Bud Light...especially during football season!

 Max started Middle School at Hyatts...and they have an ornament!

 I started teaching Pre-K...so I got a pencil with Miss Stacy on it

 Megan got braces - this was the cutest ornament!

Every year, I look forward to this - seeing what they've done and remembering the ornaments from each year is one of my favorite things. It is such a great start for the holidays!
