Early in the fall, Max wanted to choose an instrument. Of course he picked the clarinet…but Dad helped him change his mind. (I guess it helps that Dad plays trumpet…and was in the OSU Marching Band…so, maybe a future bandy?)
Max has caught on really fast. In fact, his music teacher gave him the citizenship award for Music – he’s the only one out of 3rd, 4th, AND 5th grade to get it! We are super proud!
Maybe he should have stuck with the clarinet..at least they sit in front with the flutes at band concerts. But, this is the only shot we got of him that night – walking to his seat! 2 Elementary schools, as well as the middle school band, came together for the concert. It was neat to see/hear them play.
