As with many vacations – it’s all about swimming, the beach, and eating…and family. We were lucky enough to do all of it!
During swim time Max and Megan made up games, while on the 1st day, Mia threw her swim vest aside and took off swimming on her own. They all had so much fun going to the pool everyday and sometimes at night. The pools were heated (thank goodness) so they were able to enjoy them without freezing!
And what would be a vacation without our favorite restaurants? Sunset Grille is Megan and I’s favorite place to visit – and Zaxby’s is a southern chicken place we fell in love with in Georgia a few years ago. It seems silly to get excited about a chicken place, but we were ALL happy to see the Zaxby’s sign!
And what would be a fun time on the beach without some snazzy kites? Too bad after this picture Mia’s flew away…and thanks to Grandpa he stopped and bought her a new one. We had a lot of fun flying them on the beach in the evenings!
And of course Family. We were fortunate to have my mom and dad vacation with us for part of the time. They had gone down to see friends, and were happy to see us too.Thanks for hanging with us Grandpa and Grandma!
