This afternoon we witnessed our 1st Cub Scout Graduation (we missed last year in Georgia). It was up at Camp Lazarus, where Scott has many memories of being a scout. Max graduated from Wolf Rank, and became a Bear. Basically in the ceremony the leader takes off the Wolf attire...and they cross the bridge and receive the new Bear attire from their parents. What seems like a simple feat, has been a school year filled with projects, reading, memorizing, and learning the trades of camping, fishing, and building the derby car. Lots of work went into crossing over the bridge..and we are so proud of him! With his popcorn sales, he even earned a free day camp for scouts this June. He can't wait (and we like the free part)! Of course his sisters watched every bit - but were most interested in the cake and juice! Congrats Max! Crossing over to Bear

Congratulations. I don't know much about Scouts but it looks fun. I am also glad you had a great Mother's day by saving the desserts. Your priorities are right on girl!

That's so great! I like the symbolism of crossing the bridge ... what a neat thing. Sounds like Max has worked hard this year!
