Max opened up the baseball season with his team, the Devil Rays. He is having so much fun since his friends on the team are all from his school. It definitely makes it a treat knowing he'll see his friends 2-3 times a week- especially after school ends! He did well with 4 hits, and he played 3rd base (which he pounded on the bag to get a guy out) and center field.
Saturday/SundayWhile Dad and Grandpa golfed on Saturday, I took the kids up to Kinsale for the pool opening. Now, mind you it was 65 on Saturday..but the pool was heated and not very crowded. It was good for the kids to get back in the water. Max always picks up where he left off..but Megan will need some major swim lessons to catch up w/ her brother. Mia didn't like the water at first, but when we went back on Sunday with Dad, she really seemed to enjoy it. She even liked jumping off the side!
Monday
We headed to downtown Powell to watch the Memorial Day parade. Our Max was in the parade with his cub scout troop, so we were there quite early to get a seat. Even our friends the Kaatz family joined us for the fun. It was a good parade for the kids because everyone throws out candy. I swear it is like Halloween here at my house!

Not so sure about the 60s temp for swimming (even heated). :)
How fun. I am so glad you are swimming already. I taught today in the rain.

So fun! Glad to see Max is still loving baseball. Can't believe you swam in such cold weather. Sorry we keep missing each other on the phone.
