Baseball is FINALLY over. Seems as though the season was going to go on forever (in a good way!). This is Max's 1st year on Kid Pitch and all the boys on his team are 4th/5th graders. So, he was the youngest in 3rd grade at the start of the season. While he was challenged, he did play pretty good. We aren't convinced baseball is his sport, but hitting improved, and in the last game he had 2 hits, caught a pop fly, and slid to make a stop for a run. Great game for him!
The season record was 2-8-1, but then the tournaments started. Each day last week (Sat-Thurs) we played, and ended with the final game Thursday in the championship. Even though they lost 8-4, the boys were really excited because they played so well and made it to the Championship game. And, it helps they all got a trophy which only the top 2 teams in the league get! Great season Max!
