Half the Sky is a foundation which builds preschools and infant care centers in China orphanages. It his highly recognized by the China government. It is also run by an adoptive mom from here in the United States. If you want more info on it....check the link on the bottom right.
Mia's orphanage is one with a HTS center. Right now there are votes for who gets to carry the Olympic torch through China. The founder of Half the Sky would carry the torch with 8 different kids from 8 different orphanages. What a wonderful experience for them!
